I cannot create projects with Enterprise
Customers using PostgreSQL in Enterprise may encounter errors when creating projects.
Please check the following log file for an error message indicating that the Ident authentication failed.
If you find the error message, change the authentication method to password authentication in the following procedure and check if the problem is fixed.
1. Check the connection.
Please check if you can connect to PostgreSQL with the following command on Backlog server.
psql -U backlog -h localhost backlog psql -U backlog -h 127.0.0.1 backlog
If you see an error message stating that Ident authentication failed, please proceed to step 2.
2. Change the PostgreSQL authentication method.
Please modify pg_hba.conf as follows and change the authentication method to md5.
# TYPE DATABASE USER CIDR-ADDRESS METHOD # "local" is for Unix domain socket connections only local all all md5 #IPv4 local connections: host all all 127.0.0.1/32 md5 # IPv6 local connections: host all all ::1/128 md5
3. Reboot the service.
Reload PostgreSQL service and reflect the setting contents.
service postgresql reload
Please also restart backlog-www
service backlog-www stop service backlog-www start
